This year, we’re turning the Denton Margarita Contest into a full block-style celebration.

For 2026, Wild Cactus is proud to partner with our neighbors Hannah’s Off the Square and Game Changers to create a three-location margarita showdown — all happening on the same block.

More bartenders.
More tacos.
More energy.
More Denton.

How It Works

Your ticket gives you:

• Entry to the event
• One taco ticket
• Official voting ballot
• Access to all margarita tastings

Contestants will be set up at all three locations, and you’ll get to sample creative margaritas from some of Denton’s favorite bartenders.

After tasting, cast your vote and help us crown the 2026 Margarita Champion.

5:00 PM – Tastings End
6:30 PM – Winners Announced

Winners will be announced at Wild Cactus, followed by a social media live reveal.

Must be 21+ to participate in tastings.
